On 25.01.2026, the LMU Endowment Fund NERVEN BEWAHREN invites you to a special piano matinee with Johanna Doll under the motto "Light and Shadow". The program includes the Impromptus op. 142 by Franz Schubert, the 4th Scherzo by Frédéric Chopin, virtuoso etudes by Franz Liszt from the "Études d'exécution transcendante", as well as the enchanting "L'Ilse Joyeuse" by Claude Debussy.

Johanna Doll began playing the piano at the age of three and was accepted as a junior student at the renowned Mozarteum in Salzburg at the age of 16. Her musical education then took her to the Munich University of Music, where she completed her artistic master's degree with the highest distinction. She has received scholarships from Yehudi Menuhin, Live Music Now and the Richard Wagner Society in Bayreuth for her exceptional achievements. Guest appearances have taken her to renowned stages such as the Gasteig in Munich. She has also opened international masterclasses and inspires audiences at home and abroad with lively concert programs.

The pianist presents her piano concerts herself. As a synaesthete, she takes the audience on a journey into her world of sounds and colors and creates a very special concert experience.

In addition to her artistic activities, Johanna Doll completed a second degree in medicine and is currently training as a neurologist. Her work in science and clinics has given her first-hand knowledge of the importance of neurological research. That is why she is particularly keen to support the projects that the "Nerven bewahren" Foundation promotes.

The matinee will take place on 25.01.2026 at Campus Großhadern and will begin at 11 am. Admission is free, but generous donations to the "Nerven bewahren" foundation are requested.
